Description:

The SnapTRACK® cable & pipe locator is built on Pathfinder SAF Technology™, delivering advanced signal acquisition and filtering. With FrequencyFlex™, users can adapt the system to their needs, selecting from multiple active and passive frequencies. This ensures precise locating with minimal interference, even around faults and conduit bends.

Its updated transmitter features improved induction, multi-frequency coupling from 8 kHz to 118 kHz, and automatic impedance matching. The 5-watt or 10-watt transmitter applies two frequencies simultaneously, allowing users to locate both main lines and additional services. This set-and-forget feature streamlines operations, saving time and effort.

The ergonomically designed SnapTRACK® receiver provides push-button depth measurement up to 25 feet and accurate current readings. Proximity cues, peak and null tone modes, and a backlit digital display make identifying target utilities easier, even in congested areas. Durable weatherproof membrane buttons ensure smooth operation in various conditions.

Paired with the optional STAFF GRP (ground return probe), the SnapTRACK® efficiently pinpoints line faults with directional guidance. Operators can simultaneously locate utilities and detect faults, improving accuracy and reducing downtime. This capability is essential for maintaining power lines, telecom cables, and underground infrastructure.

For locating conduit blockages, optional Sondes operate on active frequencies like 512Hz, 640Hz, and 33kHz. They are traceable up to 25 feet in the air and 10 feet in cast iron pipes, providing precise results. Rycom Instruments® ensures that the SnapTRACK® delivers industry-leading accuracy and reliability for utility locating professionals.
