PID.330 Cable Identification System
Introduction to the PID.330:
  • The power cable phase identification uses the phase principle to measure the phase sequence of the power cable.

  • The cable is sampled by the phase detector and tested via the host.

  • The test result is displayed by a three-digit digital tube.

Standard Accessories
  • Transmitter direct connection output cable 1 unit

  • Transmitter module 1 unit

  • Receiver Display 1 unit

  • Cable set 2 sets

  • Transport case 1 unit

Measuring Function:

Working power supply: 4 AAA batteries Working time: about 20 hours LED display: shows the phase sequence of the cable (A, B, C) Working environment: Temperature: -40℃~+50℃ Humidity:

1、Connection
First put the battery into the host, and then connect the three core wires at the beginning of the tested cable to the A, B, and C ports of the phase detector (A, B, and C of the tested cable are determined by the user, usually: A Red wire, B to green wire, C to yellow wire); the three core wires of the tested cable terminal are connected to the three jacks X1, X2, and X3 on the host(receiver) respectively (the order is random).

2、Test
Press the "Test" button to start the test. The display will display the word "C", and it will cycle continuously from left to right until the display is stable, and the test process is over at this time. At this moment, the display shows the measurement results on the digital tubes corresponding to the X1, X2, and X3 terminals, and the phase sequence is completely consistent with the A, B, and C connections on the phase detector. If you want to test again, press the "Test" button again, and the host will start testing again. Before the test, the positions of the three wires can be changed at will, but the wires must be connected properly and cannot be suspended or omitted. The test result should be consistent with the last time.
After the test is completed, turn off the power.
